'In our Christian lives we are often called to serve others. To be there - that our hands, feet, mouths and indeed every part of us should be available to God; and yet there are times when we must also allow ourselves to 'be served' and to receive from him all the wonderful blessings He wishes to give us ..... 'serving' and 'being served' - all parts of the same equasion. How can we be one unless we learn what it means to be the other?
I would highly recommend the Still Waters retreats to anyone. Don't just wait 'till you are feeling down. They are for the good times too.'

"I went on the November retreat, after patiently or not so patiently waiting for the opportunity to arise.
What a blessing!! I find it difficult to describe what happened in the retreat, it was awesome, I actually heard God call me by name. I was refreshed, restored, spiritually, not physically, but I have come to realise that that will be in God's timing only. But how amazing to be able to come to the Lord's feet, to be able to come as you are and leave as the Lord has touched you and restored you. The Lord showed me so many things that weekend and gave me back faith in "myself". He took away doubt and fear and gave me new hope and confidence and challenges for the future.
Still Waters Ministry is AMAZING. The team are so very special, so very patient and so very understanding, compassionate and prayerful; Such Godly women.
I could go on for a very long time, but hope that this will briefly tell you what Still Waters Ministry means to me and I can't wait to go again."

I was asked to critique the “Encounter for Men” retreat I recently attended and these are my thoughts:
Have you ever had doubts about anything to do with your faith?
Have you ever been hurt, by a colleague, friend, relative or loved one?
Have you ever done anything wrong and later regret it?
Have you a problem with anger, stress, hatred or impatience?
Have you an illness or pain of any kind, or an addiction?
Have you done anything you are ashamed of?
Have you ever wanted to get closer to God and know that He is close to you?
Then I urge you to go on a Still Waters Ministries retreat. I recently did and I can tell you that it was led by GOD! Irene, Pat and Ernie were used as vessels to arrange accommodation, to set up the room, to play the music, to read the words of scripture and to pray with us. But every one of the eleven men agreed that the retreat was actually led by God – we came into the actual presence of God!
There is no requirement to “bare your soul” to anyone, just give your problem to God. Anyone who chooses to share anything in the group knows that it can be done in the strictest of confidence.
I returned home on Sunday afternoon, feeling really close to my ten brothers in Christ.

Thanks for the cleansing, healing week-end. I have never felt so at peace with myself. The Lord certainly paid me a BIG visit. The teaching was very good and really brought God to us. Thanks to all the other men who were also at Encounter.

Encounter for men. From a sceptic who thought this was just another holy huddle, the reality was a deep en counter with the Lord. I was anointed again and sent out totally unblocked from all sorts of sin from my past hurts etc., to be fit for service in the Kingdom and to go make disciples. Billy
After 25 years of walking with the Lord "At the Lord's Feet" retreat was a powerful spiritual turning point in my life. I am being transformed in so many ways and have found a new, beautiful freedom in Christ, particularly in praise and worship. The Lord is using Still Waters ministries to His glory. Suzanne
